2. Person making booking is responsible for payment and any damage to hotel.
3. You must be a "responsible adult" to make a booking.
4. Deposit payable equal to first night's tariff; not refundable.
5. Pay balance at check in.
6. ID required at check in.
7. Credit card required at check in;
8. Maybe bond as well.
9. If you cancel, deposit is not refundable.
10. If you leave early, you must give 24 hours notice; un-consumed payment refundable.
11. If you misbehave, you may be evicted.
12. RMS Online (the booking engine operator) is not liable.
13. Apartments for accommodation only; no business use without permission.
14. Apartments are not serviced daily. Weekly services included in price. Additional housekeeping available.
15. No smoking in hotel. Penalties if you do!
16. Parking available but not guaranteed.
17. Third party internet wireless hotspot available at hotel.
18. From 16th July 2008 to 31st December 2008 a gas crisis surcharge will apply to all bookings.

TERMS AND CONDITIONS (FULL VERSION)

  1. LIMITATION ON SIZE OF BOOKING This booking system is for private bookings only for stays up to 28 nights. (Travel agents should call the hotel). You may only book one or two apartments for a set of dates.  If you require more apartments, please call the hotel on 1800 819 191 (international +61 8 9215 1515).  If you have booked more than two apartments, the hotel reserves the right to cancel the bookings.

  2. RESPONSIBILITY OF GUEST The person making the booking is the "principal guest".  The principal guest is responsible for all matters to do with the booking, including payment and any loss or damage done to the hotel or the apartment that can be reasonably attributed to you or others staying or visiting in the apartment.

  3. QUALIFICATION OF GUEST  You must be at least 18 years of age to make an online booking as the principal guest AND you must have your own credit card to make the transaction.  However, if people under 18 are to be staying in the apartment with you, the principal guest must be a responsible adult.  If you are not sure if you will be deemed to be a responsible adult, call the hotel and discuss it.  1800 819 191.

  4. PAYMENTS  Deposit: when you make an online booking here, you will be required to pay for the first night's stay.  This payment is not refundable. 

  5. When you check in, you will be required to pay the balance of the accommodation charge. 

  6. At check-in, you will also be asked to present personal identification, a copy of which will be held on your file.

  7. At check-in, the principal guest will be required to leave a pre-authorized charge on their credit card to cover any charges made by the guests and visitors in the apartment AND to cover any loss or damage done to the hotel or the apartment that can be reasonably attributed to you or your guests and visitors.

  8. The hotel reserves the right to ask for a cash bond of $200 from principal guests, secured at check-in.  The bond is an additional surety against loss or damage to the hotel.

  9. CANCELLATIONS If you cancel your booking that you made on this online booking system, a charge equal to one night's accommodation will be made. The deposit you made for your booking will be forfeited to cover this charge.

  10. If you choose to depart ahead of the booked departure date, you must give notice to the reception staff before 10am on the day before your new departure date.  You will then be refunded your payment for those nights not consumed.  The refund will be made by the same means as your payment was made.  The refund will be made within seven days of your new departure date.  All refunds require the hotel manager's approval.

  11. MISCONDUCT The hotel reserves the right to cancel a booking or withdraw accommodation services from any principal guest (and therefore his/her guests and visitors in the apartment) if any of the principal guest's visitors or other guests sharing the apartment are unruly, uncooperative, disorderly or affected by alcohol or other drugs, or do not obey reasonable instructions from the hotel staff or comply with posted hotel rules. 

  12. NO LIABILITY The principal guest agrees not to hold RMS Online (operators of this booking engine) responsible for any losses suffered by using this service.

  13. USE OF THE ACCOMMODATION  The apartment is for the purposes of accommodation only. If a guest wishes to conduct any business at the hotel or in the apartment, permission must first be sought from the hotel's general manager.

  14.  SERVICES The hotel does not service apartments on a daily basis.  However you can purchase housekeeping services by calling the hotel or arranging this at check-in.  Bookings of seven nights or longer receive a weekly housekeeping service.  All guests may exchange towels twice a week and rubbish will be removed daily from apartments.

  15. NO SMOKING  The hotel is a no-smoking property, however some outside areas of the hotel may be used by smokers.  Guests who smoke in an apartment will be charged a cleaning fee of $100 and may be liable to compensate the hotel for lost revenue if the apartment cannot be prepared in time for the next guest. 

  16. PARKING Parking is NOT guaranteed, however there are 50 bays available for hotel guests.  There is no extra fee for parking.

  17. INTERNET  Wireless internet access is available at a fee at the hotel including in the apartments.  However the hotel accepts no responsibility for any loss a guest may suffer if the guest is unable to secure internet service.  A refund of the internet fee may be arranged with the third party internet service provider.

  18. GAS CRISIS SURCHARGE As a result of the June 3 explosion on Varanus Island the supply of gas to Western Australia has been severely depleted. The subsequent increase in operational costs of Prime Laundry who service the hotel will be covered by the gas crisis surcharge. The surcharge amount may vary weekly and is payable on arrival.
